A serial killer asks, "Do memories have weight?" A leg is lost on the street. Chief Inspector Sohlberg must solve both mysteries.

Nynorsk Forlag is pleased to announce the 2015 release of Sohlberg and the Lost Leg, the fourth book in the Inspector Sohlberg series.

A leg is lost on the street. A killer is on the loose.

The victims seem to have been waiting for their murder.

Death also follows Poppy, a most humble man who says that he only wants to “talk reason.”

A killer smiles and asks Chief Inspector Sohlberg: “Do memories have weight?”

Lowlifes mix with High Society and it’s hard to tell which is which in a world of shadows where there is no right or wrong, just shades of anything goes. But one man can tell the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. Meet Chief Inspector Sohlberg. He knows the difference. And he knows that memories have weight. In this case, he finds out just how much weight.

We hope that readers will enjoy the latest book where Chief Inspector Sohlberg embarks on a journey into a heart of darkness that leads him from Oslo to London and Palm Beach.

New book on betrayal: Sohlberg and the Gift ... in the shadow of Anders Behring Breivik

We're glad to finally present the Amazon Kindle edition of SOHLBERG AND THE GIFT, the prequel to the Inspector Sohlberg series.

The book's principal themes are betrayal and redemption.

Jens Amundsen engages in a brutally frank discussion of betrayal by loved ones, friends, co-workers, governments, politicians, and others.

Also, the book does not shy away from exposing the underside of Norwegian society. In particular, the book shows how easily judges, prosecutors, and defense lawyers blatantly manipulate insanity defenses in criminal cases. For example, there's the current case of Anders Behring Breivik, who killed 77 individuals in his 1-day campaign of terror. The court was unhappy with the insanity findings of two psychiatric experts who examined the defendant. The judges then commissioned and obtained "experts" who claimed that Anders Behring Breivik is sane.

The book also deals with rampant crime in Oslo and the social experiment of multi-culturalism, which imported radical Islam to Norway.

Few Norwegians speak honestly or openly about the divisive issue of immigrants and radical Islam. As in most countries, political correctness is the norm in government and the media and the schools. It's almost impossible to find mainstream Norwegian newspapers that report the whole truth on these issues.

A few newspapers (Dagbladet and Aftenposten) have finally published articles about Oslo's massive crime rate, which is 400% greater than New York City. Media outlets consistently gloss over the fact that most criminal culprits are the immigrants that Norway's governments imported to promote the social experiment of multi-culturalism. U.S. release: Sohlberg and the Missing Schoolboy

We're glad that we finally found a way to publish the Inspector Sohlberg series in the United States. Please visit www.deadlybooks.com for the author's personal website.

Sohlberg and the Missing Schoolboy, the debut novel of Jens Amundsen, is now available in Amazon's Kindle format.

As a small indie publisher that's part of a larger family business, we have the time and resources to find and grow authors who have strong and unique voices. We're especially proud of having found a new partner in the USA: Vik Crime, which co-publishes superb works of fiction through Blue Salamander and White Salmon.
